Attention all D&K cruisers. We have discovered that the "Dan and Kim Cruise" scheduled for January 2009 is no longer the Dan and Kim Cruise. Therefore we will not be joining you in 2009. After a decade of DK travelling, we wish all of our sailing companions a Bon Voyage. Thanks for the great memories! Please refer all questions to the Cruise Store at 413-525-9001 ---------------------------------------------

Cool websites we like. Can you guess which picks are whose?
One of our proudest accomplishments has been the creation of Katelynn's Ride, a yearly bicycling event to benefit the Jimmy Fund. Thanks to the dedication of nearly 400 riders, the determination of generous sponsors, and the hard work of our volunteers, this year's fundraising total is nearing $190,000! The battle against cancer is a tough one and we're all in it together. You are making a difference.

play me a song

Dear Dan and Kim (and Billie),
I was driving to work today when you played the song parody about being a Palin fan (you know the one done to Piano Man) and I was laughing so hard I had to pull over. I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time and certainly not about the political situation. Would you please tell me where I can find this to play for my friends? Also, play it again tomorrow so I can have another laugh. Thanks for all the great listening.
Not a Palin Fan,
Marcie

Go to the red!
Billy and Rick
Friday 10-03-2008 8:46am ET
Producer Billy and Rick Astley are best buds...we think it's the red hair thing. Check out this video of Rick and Billy celebrating Aloha Friday!
Say it a'int so! Rick Astley is up for the "Best Act Ever". How could this happen? Read on!
It's conceivable that someone like U2 could win an award called ``Best Act Ever.'' You could even make the argument for Green Day. But Rick Astley? The MTV Europe Music Awards nominations are out and Astley's name is there for ``Best Act Ever,'' competing with U2, Green Day, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. It appears MTV Europe is the latest victim of Rickrolling, a long-running Internet prank where people click on bizarre headlines or videos, only to be linked to Astley's video for ``Never Gonna Give You Up.'' Because fans vote on the award,it's possible Astley could be named Best Act Ever! The results will be announced November 6th in Liverpool, England.
Rumor has it that the Virgin Mary's image can be seen in a window at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Here's the photo. Can you see the likeness? Check out the rest of the story here.
It was this very day in 1976 that Joe Cocker appeared on SNL. He got a little help on stage from his friend John Belushi. If you've never seen this video or you haven't seen it in a long time give it a spin. Kim and I loved it!
